HD ADVANCE/HD LOADER

Hi im trying to make backups of my games so that i can use hd advance/hd loader to rip them to my ps2 hard drive but every time i do a iso backup of my games using dvd decryptor they wont load on hd advance/hd loader.

It says that its not a original ps2 game.Is there anything i can do to make the backups play/load using hd advance?

I notice when i try and backup gta san andreas there are no dummy files could this be the problem? do i need to add a dummy file or some kind of patch?

the problem is i can backup my games to my hd but if the hd dies then i lost the backups so i figured if i make a backup of the original disk and then some how get it to load to the hd it would save me from losing the game incase anything happens to the original.

Or is there nay other way of booting backed up games.My ps2 is not modded in any way.

If your not using a slide tool or a fliptop you will need either one so you can swap for the backup if you want to install them onto the hdd using you Ps2, Ps2 games are pressed with a code unlike burnt games which have no code so the Ps2 knows it's a fake and will not load it. hdloader is not good at installing backups, hdadvance can install them but again you need a swapping method, there is another way of install backups onto the Ps2 hdd without even using the Ps2, you need to connect the Ps2 hdd to your PC as a slave drive then open an application called WinHIP, that allows you to transfer the ps2 game from you PC hdd to the Ps2 hdd (and its faster than the ps2 ;) then it's just a case of loading the Ps2 hdd up and playing the game :) As for San Andreas it requires no patches/fixes to be played on the Ps2 hdd it should be a case of doing a straight copy for the Disk to the PC hdd using DVD Decrypter.

Cheers.I downloaded winhiip and set the ps2 hd as a slave and i ripped a ps2 game to the hd using dvd decryptor and then i use winhiip to load it to the hd and it worked a treat.It Also allowed me to load other apps like ps2 media player and other games and apps from the net.
i can also load the memory card exploit with 1 app i downloaded.
