Should a tape recorded in hi-8 format, recorded on a Sharp VL-AH151 be able to playback on a Sony TRV265E?.I would like to transfer some tapes recorded on the old Sharp model using the usb interface of the Sony model, but the tapes will not play back in the Sony. I'm pretty ignorant with regard to the different formats, so am not sure if the original (analogue) format can be played back in a digital camcorder. Thanks for any advice.
