hi, i have a DVD9 which all my important documents, home movie clips, programs etc. i backed everything onto this 8gig dvd. I saw an advert about copy protecting dvd's. i clicked on the advert. I thought it might be useful to protect some other cd's at home which i lend to my friends (so they can copy ideas - i design programs). the problem is i was just testing the copyprotection on the 8gb dvd. When i re-formatted my pc (windows) i deleted everything on my hardrive. I went to fetch the dvd which has my work on, programs etc. Now i cant access them fully. I cant save the movie clips onto a seperate dvd disk. Can i not remove this protection some how. i mean the dvd is my own and i protected it no one else so its not illegal.

if anyone can please help me it would be great. I want to seperate the movie (its my brothers wedding movie and his wife's family are coming to watch it over the weekend - i wanted to add effects and edit it but i cant)

Hope u understand, please HELP

BEFORE THE WEEKEND THANKS

I don't see what this has to so with DVDShrink, you may want to ask the question in the proper category.

You can't put CSS/macrovision onto a DVD without paying big bucks, so I assume you mean you downloaded some password protection program? Plextor has something called SecureROM, but you would need to reinstall thet program to be able to acces your data. Or is it just that your DVD is a piece of crap because why are you able to access some parts of the DVD and not others? What's the error message when you try to copy files? You're kind of vague with your problem so I doubt you'll get many answers from here.
