Hey Guys
Now that I have a pretty big HDD, and Im waiting on some good quality media.. I have my games on my HD, but. I really hate using up SO much space on it.
So my question is, how can I compress the isos to a decent size. I've tried with WinRAR and I've got a few mb off a 4gb+ game..
I know you can have many WinRAR archives (part.001 part .002 etc.) but I haven't had much experience.
Any help greatly appreciated :)

I know how to make the files output as .001 .002 etc but am really not sure how you get the best compression :(
If you open WinRAR & select ADD you will see a screen like the one in the 1st picture:
Put .001 at the end of the file name, after you have selected a file name create a folder on your desktop or another location then hit Browse locate the folder you created and open it, it will not open anything it?s just telling the application were to output the files. The bit you see highlighted is were you put the file size in but it has to be in bytes, in my case I put 50,000,000 bytes which is equal to 47.6 MB so each file will be 47.6 MB.
Check the "Old Style Volume Names"
Select the file(s) you want to add by hitting Append select them then hit OK WinRAR will now begin to compress the file(s) depending on your PC specs it my take some time but you can choose to use faster compression.
After the compression is finished you will have files like this:
Edit: gave it a bit more detail just in case anyone else is wondering how to do this, maybe i should stick it in the User Guides :-D

Yeah, I compressed a 3.8gb game and it came out 3.4gb lol, so I guess I have to re-consider how much compression I put it. I mean, the parts, maybe reconsider the size per part. Ty anyway lol :)

rebuild as many games as you can
get ultraiso if you dont have it
then look at the iso size before using ultraiso, then after open the image in ultraiso, then look at the top right hand side, and see if the size shown matches what you think it should be,
if its was different, then the chances are it has crap that can be removed, usually as you know,a few gigs
