hi there
i have done a few mods and had no problems untill now,this is the first time that i have seen this problem, I have just put the xbox back together and started it up to test it and it went for about a second then hung, no flashing leds the green glob just got a bad stutter, so I turned it off turned it on all i got was a black screen, off/on it hung a bit further in to loading. I then tried to load with the eject button (mod chip off) it booted to the ms screen but i did notice one thing all the other xbox's i have modded have the origanal xbox dash on them this one had the updated dash as it was a v1.0 xbox with live support. I pulled the xbox apart to check the soldering and everything was as good as the last ones.

I have put evox on the hdd and it will load and hang but if you press the eject button it will load to the dash, if you reset it I just get a black screen.

I have another mod chip that i put in and the same thing happens.

some of the games that i tested on it worked but some came up with the dirty disk error or just froze

any help would be appreciated
