have a PS2 version 9 system. I have a backup of Mortal Kombat Shoalin Monks because my 3 year old brother got to it. Good thing I made a copy. I?ve been reading the boards about how to use AR MAX (Action Replay MAX) with Swap Magic. I?m having bad luck. I keep getting the Red Screen asking me to ?Insert a PS1 or PS2 format disc?. I?ve followed the direction thoroughly but no luck!! This is what I did and the direction I deciphered.
Action Replay Max (Evo)
1. I inserted Action Relay Max disc into the PS2
2. I when to Expert Mode and pick the codes for my game and press start.
3. When it asked me to insert the game disc, I ejected the AR Max disc and insert the Swap Magic DVD or CD disc and press OK (Ex: if it?s a DVD game I inserted the Swap Magic DVD disc)
4. After the Swap Magic Disc Finishes loading up, I swaped it with the Game disc and press X.
This didn?t work for me so I though ?outside the box? and figured that maybe a backup game would work with a backup AR MAX
Backup Action Replay Max (Evo)
1. I Inserted the Swap Magic CD-Rom disc
2. I Swap it with the Action Relay Max.
3. I when to Expert Mode and pick the codes for my game then press start.
4. When it asked me to insert the game disc, I ejected the AR Max disc and insert the Swap Magic DVD or CD disc and press OK (Ex: if it?s a DVD game I insert the Swap Magic DVD disc)
5. After the Swap Magic Disc Finishes loading up, I swaped it with the Game disc and press X.
No luck here either!! So then I tried the PS2 DVDloader.

5. ???.......
It went straight to the RED SCREEN!!! I downloaded the PS2 DVDloader from the site that was suggested here but it only works when you use the Swap Magic disc alone. (Without using AR Max). I tried to find a FIX for the game but there aren?t any! Does anyone know a solution to this problem or where a MK Shoalin Monks FIX is at. HECK or even a working PS2 DVDLoader.
