Hi there I modded my Gamecube with Qoob pro, I downloaded the new BIOS for it put it on and its great, but i put GCOS1.4 in the apps because the Qoob team said it dose'nt boot backups, so i found that software and put it on, then i boot up GCOS and select boot backup DVD so i started the swap thingy then put the backedup game in and it starts to load it up, but then green screens and then black and nothing happens.
I use DATAIN Premium 1.4GB miniDVD-R do you think i should change the DVD's? or is there a way that im suposed to burn them, i used nero and everything i even used a Gamecube emulatour to test the ISO's and they work.

Go on modthatcube (sorry, don't remember the address) and download a newer bios for Qoob such as 1.3c since it can play backups.

I had mixed results running GCoS off the Qoob so I don't even bother with it. The teaser for 1.5 seems to work a bit better, but that's probably because I adjusted the pot.

Actually, it had to have been the pot since some of my backups had trouble loading on 1.3a and 1.3c, and on GCoS they blackscreened after the swap.

So just get the newer bios and adjust the pot. There's a good guide on modthatcube (http://modthatcube.pxn-os.com/) that explains how to do it.

Also, if games don't play with the laser set between 170-210 ohms, don't worry about it. As long as you don't go too low you should be fine. I had to set mine at 150 for everything to play properly.

Thanks it works great now with the new BIOS, but i have'nt toched the POT my cube is version A and ive had it since the day it came out and i have'nt toched the pot once. And it boots backups without a fuss now, got rid of that GcOs 1.4 just use Qoob pro 1.3C BIOS works great with Riteck G04 DVD-R.
PS. if anyone can PM me with some links to Gamecube downloads that would be great if you know what i mean cheers.
