is there anyway i can burn a dvd+r using a dvd-r burner

most of the newer burners support BOTH formats, but, if you have an older burner that ONLY supports one of the two (dvd+r or DVD-R only), then NO, you can only burn onto the media format that your burner supports :)

there ARE modified/cross flashed firmwares for various makes and models of burners that WILL enable it to do so, but you are taking a risk of frying ur burner if you incorrectly flash your burner and naturally your warranty is NULL and VOId~ :)

what kind of burner..make and model do you have? i MIGHT be able to help you if it is supported...hehe
