I have a 2 disk DVD that i have taken out the menues and extras so it leaves only the movie. I merged them together using DVD shrink, and then burn them with NERO. The movie seems to play fine until it is about half way through, starting with what would be the second dvd, then it just quits? any reason for this? am i doing something wrong, or not doing something right? any help would be appriciated, thanks.

Without seeing exactly what settings you are using, it is hard to determine what the cause of the problem is. Maybe try Nero Recode instead, it is similar to Shrink as it was written by the same guy. Just choose the make DVD option and then select the files from your hard drive.
