how to put iso's and loaders onto my psp

this is realy frustrating i have found games but i dont understand how to play them i have "umdemulator" and "Devhook" and im trying to play dead to rights i put DTR into the iso folder on ms root and i see it when i click on UMDEMULATOR and when i try to access it it frezes and i restart all over again some one plz help me out (IM A SUPER NOOB)

OK the rar file is AN ARCHIVE just like a zip file or a 7z file or an ace file (you get the picture).
You need WinRAR or WinAce and extract the rar file. Should have an ISO file inside. UMD Emulator etc etc all use ISOs. So you put the ISO on your PSP.
I was told to change my sig so I did this.

ive downloaded WinRAR but i still couldnt find a iso file i got the dtr picture in the game file and i clicked on it and it wouldnt load it said dtr launcher and just stayed...

OK when you download a game it can be either an ISO or an exact directory of the disc, in your case, the dir.
DIR:
With UMDs, when you access it, the game is in a folder called psp_game. When you use a game specific loader (eg Coded Arms no UMD Loader) it asks you to put (in this example) the psp_game folder in the root of your Mem Stick and rename it to (in this case) coa_game. then it asks you to put the loader at ms0:\PSP\GAME\*(here)*
ISO:
here's one of my previous posts from another topic:

Also, ISOs look like this:
coded_arms_europe_ripped.by.UbArH4X0r.ISO
or
coded_arms_europe.ISO
or simply
coded_arms.ISO
Direct Directories look like this:
psp_game (folder)
somefile.bin
and in psp_game its full of data blah blah blah.
and usually the dirs and ISOs are put in RAR archives and on Bittorrent servers (dld as torrents)
RAR eg: coded_arms_eur.ripped.by.SoMeGaYpErSoN.rar
torrent eg: coded_arms_europe_full_working_by.RuBaRbJuIcE.torrent
UMD EMulator is placed in ms0:\PSP\GAME\UMDEMULATOR
ISOs (when using UMD Emu) are placed in ms0:\UMDEMULATOR\ISO\codedarms.iso
booters: ms0:\PSP\GAME\CODEDARMSBOOTER
dir: ms0:\coa_game
ISOs when using booter: ms0:\coded.arms.ISO

Dead to rights.. emm . let see now, u have to place the DTR_GAME folder in ur Root, and then u have to place the 2 DTR and the DTR% folder in ur /GAME folder, it then works fine

you get a loader for burnout 3. then, you rename it as the readme.txt file for the loader tells you to. then put it on j00r mem stick and play.

does the iso come in a compressed folder with the sysdir, usrdir and the icon, pic, snd and param.sfo already with it? or do i have to get it seperate? because when i download metal gear solid acid it only comes with a pic of an peice of paper with an program on it like eboot. Also it has reduced in size by dramatically. Is it because i have my security to high for my net or is norton messing me up when i download files. I know that i had to turn off my auto protect to drowngrade my psp because it kept deleting the overflow. so i suspect it is norton.
If it is norton is there any way round to stop the security for a while so i can download the real iso.

Ok heres a guide for u begginers.
First you need the programs: WinRAR and bitlord
heres the list that can help you out.
1.download the game you like from a torrent site.
2.WinRAR would tell you whats on the torrent.
3.click ok
4.WinRAR would transfer it to bitlord.
5.wait until bitlord finishes the download.
ok now that this first part is done there is a second part
1.you need to connect the psp to your computer.
2.once conneted onto your computer it askes you which things you want to open up. Open up
3.ok this opens up the memory root.
4.make a folder in the memory root called ISO.
5.ok now cliock the file called PSP.
6.make a folder called GAME this would be now know to many as the PSP_GAME.
now hes the two main folders you need.
ok now heres the hard part. this may invole you dstarwr. some torrents may incule different types of stuff. when you look with WinRAR you may know. the ones you mainly looking for is the actual iso file not the ones that have for example for dead to rights dtr1 dtr2 and so on. these ones are ostly fake. it might sound confusing but trust me some torrents arnt as easy to understand at all.
what i trying to say is some games dont need to run with fast loaders or devhook while some do. these games use a hookboot in the main memory root. this means they can launch on there own without the fast loaders and devhoook. Fastloader needs an UMD to boot the game, Devhook doesnt need an UMD to boot the game and the Hookboot is exactly the same as the devhook. confusing i guess.
ok for those who use fastloader:
1.put the two files fastloader and fastloader% into PSP_GAME.
2.put the game(iso file) into the ISO folder.
3.Enjoy
ok guys for those who use devhook its similar to the fastloader:
1.put the two files devhk and devhk%(i think the files are called these. sorry if they not. however the filename wont affect anything.)
2.put the game(iso file) into the ISO folder.

ok guys for those who use hookboot:
1.put the file hookboot into the memory root
2.put the game file into the folder PSP_GAME
3.Enjoy

sorry im another noob erm i've done all the steps but it keep saying corrupeted data no matter how hard i try i followed all the guide here it still give me corrupted data... can some help me? when i dl the file it consist of an ISO folder... a fast loader... and a isomisc folder... if i use the fast loader... where should my ISO folder be? and i only have a folder called mp_root...lol someone pls help me i really appreciate it
the game i wanna put is dynasty warriors... n my psp version is 2.00

ah thats the promblem kiradex. You can only play isos on version 1 or 1.5. Thats because there is no loader for version 2 yet at all. However dont feel loss because you can downgrade your psp easily by getting a downgrader by searching for it in google. you can only downgrade from version 2 only so if you have any higher versions than that then bad luck because there are no other downgraders for the higher versions over 2.

ok. As i said before when you connect the psp and open it up it takes you to the mp_root. Make a folder ISO so you can put your isos in here. Then go back to the mp_root and click on the file PSP. In this file make a folder called GAME. In this folder you put in the fastloaders, devhook or whatever your using.
