I have a DVR-530H-s recorder and it has a PAL and NTSC tuner. I have both UK satallite and NTSC cable. I want to hook both in the recorder and out to the TV eliminating two VCR's. Is this possible? So far I have had no luck. I can only get one or the other. I had the satallite hooked in via RCA from the box to the recorder and out to the TV via RCA. The cable was connected via RGB and then out to the TV. In the setup program it allows you to change the line system to PAL or NTSC but it wont automatically switch for each signal (at least I dont think so, the maual is somewhat vague). I would like to have my cable connected (via RGB)so that it comes through the main TV channel and have my satallite hooked into inpute one on the recorder and out to input two on the TV so that I just change the input on the TV to the the satallite. I had this setup hooked up with my two VCR's. SO, any thoughts. Thanks for anyones help.
