If like me, you have bought a Canon camera online, you may have been unfortunate enough to get it from a site which does not supply the manual in English. There appears to may new web sites that front up as UK sites, only to end up being foreign exporters. This leaves the only 2 options as either buying one from a supplier for £12 + delivery or using the downloaded version. Canon however have decided to put a COPY watermark over every page that is printed off. Why they have done this I fail to understand. Surely the manual is only ever any good to someone that has bought one of their cameras. I have however managed to get around this problem and thus allow me to print out pages without the COPY watermark showing. Using a software program called Snagit. I expand each seperate page to view on my screen, these pages do not show the watermark. I then set the capture area in Snagit to the size of the page on the screen. The slow part is viewing and capturing each individual page (172 in total). They captured pages are stored as jpeg images in a specific folder, I then print the pages (selecting all) and use PDF as the printer. The images are then stored as 1 complete PDF which can be scrolled through or printed the same as any other PDF document. There are probably other screen capture packages, but Snagit is about as good as it gets. You will obviously need a PDF creator, I am using Abobe Acrobat Pro Verson 7.0
