i just bought a new ps2 model SCPH-70006 CB which is the newest model of ps2 that is the slim model. When i run my game, it loads the screen where "playstation 2" appears. When this screen appears, it basically loads the game BUT NOT on my machine. I jz bought a new POP game, and it takes a very long time to load. But when i start the game, it never finish loading. It jz hangs there. What is my problem and what should i do?? PLS help me out pros.... thnxxx
Try other games, see if it happens all the time, if not, return the game to wherever you bought it and ask for a new copy. If it does that with all games, return the console to the shop and have it replaced... simple as that.
first you start the ps2 without any cd inside, then at the browser and configeration screen press triangle. you should highlight playstation driver and press triangle, then change the disc speed to fast. keep in mind these settings reset when you turn off your ps2
