I burned several discs with a recorder (i forget the exact brand), and didn't finalize the discs. The recorder was stolen from me, and now i have many discs of footage needed for work, that will simply not play.

Is there ANY way, even with purchasing software, that i can finalize these discs so that they are playable? I'll be happy enough to extract the files into mpeg format on my computer, and reauthor on a totally new DVD.
