hey, before i made this, i did do a search,. but found nothing that really helped me..so please dont flame me about that.

when i copied my friends San Andreas, and then burnt it with Decrypter, it would work, but video would skip like crazy, and it'd take ages to load...i then figured i'd try burning with alchohol 120%...worked better...but...still does it...any one got any ideas?

What media are you using & what speed did you burn at? I had a few problems a bit back with this game and it was down to the speed at which it was burnt.

Yeah try burning slower, this is a tricky game to get working right without it skipping or freezing i had to burn at x8.

San Andreas is definitely one of the most read-intensive games out there (along with the other GTA games and LOTR: The Third Age, imo). So it's not unusual to hear you are having problems, though having it skip even during the cutscenes is kind of a bad sign.

Here's a trick that might work in addition to having good media and proper burning speed: In Alchol 120%, go to Options --> General --> Data Type Setting and select Playstation 2. Then click on the Data Position Measurement box and change Precision to High, if it's not already set to that. I found this completely fixed the few games I had which were skipping during gameplay.
