I have herd that there is a way to use backups without any mods or swap disks by cutting off the end part of your disk tray and puting in an original ps2 disk and then once disk is confirmed a ps2 disk from the playstation you swap it with the back up and it will work does any one know if this would work?

you need swap magic or another original cd such as gameshark, just any original game

You can get both swap disks and flip top for under £20 including delivery, guaranteed to work and a lot better than totally butchering your system.
