Hello, i try not to post questions unless i have exhausted all my options, and trust me i have. On any of the games i have done so far all i have done is ISO>READ and ISO>WRITE with Decryptor. With Fifa 06 i have done this, tried the game (using swap magic), loaded up to game load then froze. So i followed the guides. Firstly used
1-decrypter:
a) ISO>Read and saved image to new folder
2-iso buster
a)Opened image created in decrypter
b)Created new folder on desktop
c)transferred folders in order to new folder to rebuild.
3- Opened up Nero v6.6(here is 1st problem, stupidity on my part?)
a- opened smartstart and checked in dvd options and no UDF/ISO option so mission aborted by me.
Next i used other guide. Repeated steps 1 and 2 as above then:
3- Opened CDVDGEN
a- Create new project, DVD Rom master disc
b-opened up folder with Iso buster files in selected all files and dragged into cddvdgen
c-Hit Volume and entered SLES number entered producer and licence area
d-Hit record then merged two files into single ISO image using dos.
e-Tried to burn using decrypter ISO>write but failed at 70%
f-Then tried with nero "copy image to disc" but when i put into PS2 said not valid disc.
Sorry its so long winded but wanted to be thorough, any help much appreciated.... spending too long trying to sort it out, girlfriend is calling me a computer geek, and threatening to leave!
ok i tryed it the Nero way and wasted about 5 discs, so i did it using cddvdgen and then you use apache 2 to load the iml file then that will build your iso again, then you can burn it on to disc and your away.
if u look round u shud find a few posts on it
I JUST MAKE A EXCELENT 100% WORKING COPY OF FIFA 06 USING ALCOHOL100% AND RITEK G05,THAT IT,NOTHING MORE...JUST CLICK ON WIZARD AND LEAVE ALL THE STANDAR OPTIONS,JUST SELECT THE LOWER SPEED FOR BURNING...THIS COPY LOAD VERY FAST IN MY SILVER PS2/DMS4PRO.
I ALWAYS USE DVD Decrypter,BUT THIS TIME MY COPY WITH THE DECRYTER DON'T WORK.
what he is saying is (lose the caps mate) that his chipped ps2 will play a straight copy im asuming you have sm so you need to rebuild the game ive heard that the Nero rebuild works fine with the setting correct dont start smartstep you burning rom i will find the right setting for Nero and post back
Ok so you got this game that is on cd and cant boot PS2 cds on your system, you want to put them on dvd.
First make sure you have everything installed.
1. Make a folder somewhere you wont forget where it is name it whatever you want, I just make it on my desktop, and keep called new folder.
2. Using Iso Buster extract all the files and folders from your "cd" image to you "new folder" on your desktop.
3. Open Nero burning rom (I dont use express so these instructions will not use it). Start a new compilation.
4. Make sure you select dvd in the drop menu, it may say cd now but chage it.
5. Scroll down all the way and select Dvd-Rom (UDF/ISO).
6. On the mutisession tab select no multisession.
7. On the ISO tab make sure there are no check marks in any of the boxes, (there is one that is greyed out that says allow more than 64 charecters, dont worry about this).
8. Still on the ISO tab file name length should be max of 11 = 8 + 3chars Iso level 1
9. Still on ISO tab charecter set should be iso 9660 (standard iso cd rom)
10. Next under UDF tab UDF partion type should be Physical Partition
11. Still inder UDF tab file system version should be UDF 1.02
12. Leave force dvd-video compatability uchecked
13. Under the label tab make up a name for you compilation
14. Dates tab leave it alone it doesnt matter
15. Misc tab make sure each box has a check mark
16. Burn tab, if it is going to be less than s gigs burn at your slowest speed, otherwise dont worry too much
17. Hit the new button
18. Browse to your folder you created and put all the files and folders in there just the way they are
19. Hit burn
20. Sit back and wait
21. Play game using your favorite booting method for dvd's
Just remember this only works like 90% of the time
this is for the cd dvd convert but it works on dvd rebuild as long as you dont a file more than 2 gig
