Can I run A playstation 1 emulator on my ps2

How,cause I wanna play playstation 1 games on my ps2 while being able to save with my playstation 2 memory card. Is it possible yet. If only playstation 1 games can save on my ps2 memory card I wouldnt have to worry. Or should I just get a playstation 1 memory card and fix this problem. So no emulators for Ps1 play on the ps2? I checked zophar.net and came up with nonthing. Plz help.

There are no PS1 emulators for PS2, since it would be pointless to have the PS2 emulate something it can do on it's own. Just get a PS1 memory card, they should be pretty cheap.

THe Ps2 is backward compatible with ps1, no point in getting an emu, and there is no such thing.

thx for replys. One think I think you are wrong on,maybe if ps2 read ps1 emulator then you can put more than 1 playstation game on your cd and emulator (ps1 emulator) wont have problem reading them:D and emulators have extra features. But I might be wrong. Like ff7 and ff8 play on one cd.:D
