im having a problem with swap magic!!

i just dled swap magic 3 off of bit torrent. i wanted to know if any of you guys can give me some tips on how to burn it onto a dvd.i tried but the ps2 wont read it. do i burn the iso or do i burn the contents or both? any help would be much apreciated.thanx

You cannot use a backup of swapmagic, it WILL NOT WORK.
I'm not gonna explain the why's and wherefore's, since that question has been answered over 20 times the last few weeks. Use the forums SEARCH if you want answers on that.

If i seem a bit harsh, well, sorry, but this question gets asked about 3-5 times each week, and it seems newbies for the forum never ever use the search...

If you could just d/l it why would people buy it....

It's a pressed disc with bad sectors pressed into the disc that a burner can not duplicate .. These sectors are needed for the PS2 to boot properly... So you can't just d/l and boot a swap magic disc.... unless you have an original Swap Magic disc to boot the one you d/l'd which would be pointless.....

Unless you're using a ver 2.0 or 3.3 to boot a 3.6 but what whould be the point of swaping discs more than once....

Not just all that but your PS2 would still need to be moded in some form FLIP TOP or Slide Card for the older PS2's or Switches or Ghost clips for the newer models...

Bottom line you can not D/L and burn swap magic and boot it by itself

yeah you can't i have tried and i also tried to copy my friends swap magic disc and it didn't work, so i bought one
