1. DVDdecrypter (rip to HD)
2. DVD2one (compress to 4.37Gb)
3. Nero (burn to DVD-r or +r)

Takes about 40-45min.

Or DVDxCopy, this one will split the movie to burn onto 2 DVD-r/+r.

...but you can only use DVDXCOPY if it's an NTSC disc.

The developer's of the programme can't quite grasp that there is, for the time being at least, life outside the United States.

What ??? Only NTSC ??
Hello, I live in Europe and copy only PAL.
So it's also for PAL !!

But I have to admit: your last line in the thread is funny !

The FAQ on the DVDXCopy website says that copying of only NTSC discs are supported by the software. They say that PAL compatibility is something they are "looking at".

But what you are saying is PAL discs CAN be copied.

Obviously as you have been successfully using the prog to process Region 2 PAL discs, the FAQ is writing through it's arse.

Thanks for the tip-off. I'll try a test disc.

cheers
