Trouble searching through certain videos..

For some reason, some videos that I have won't search.. as in, if I wanted to skip to say, halfway through the movie, it won't do it..

is there any proggy that can be used to repair damaged files like this? or is there a player that will help this problem?

Try e.g. DivFix or Avifixed (both free programs), but be sure to backup the movie files first.
