i have a old un modded ps2 and it cant run any new games is there any way i can get it to play them with out spendin to much money

Yeah you need to give a little more info. Laser could be dirty, scratched, it may just not work after collecting dust for years. What game are you trying to boot, what version is your PS2, and how old is it?

i got it like a year after they first came out and im tryin to run original games but when i put in a new original game it spins for like a second then it just stops and some time later says that it cant read the disk but old games run fine
