Has anyone had any experience of Purple Top bulkpaq DVD-Rs Gen 3, and a Pioneer A05 drive?

Ive heard they are fine with the 03 and 04 drives.. but can't find any info on the 05 drives.

i bought a 25 pack and have used about 15 and still have'nt got one to work right avoid i would say

I bought 25 and burned 15, 3 of those 15 didn't work at all (the burn area got "fuzzy" towards outer edge of the disc about 2cm before the edge, when looking at the disc against the light). Avoid.

I bought 25 of them aswell, so far I have managed to get one readable by my DVD player and 3 readable by my DVD-ROM drive, I wouldn't buy anymore!

sorry guys youve got it all wrong ive used nearly 300 purple with my 105 and over 200 with my dru 500 had about 99.9% success
however data write yellow 1 in 5 fail !!!!!
i sugest you all try diffrent software
im using vob instant dvd/cd also record now max / dx no probs

well pickles about 10 other people failed with the purple tops(including me) and your the only one who have got them to work... and we are wrong???? i got a few to work, maybe u just got a good set?
