!! Radiata Stories backup problem !!

Hi
i have a back up copy of radiata stories but there is one problem it hangs up sometimes when entering battle . I cant make another copy because my original i to scratched (mainly because of my 2 years old sister that likes to paint).I burned it on DVD-R at 4x speed . And the thing i wanted to ask is if its problem of the media. Should i burn it at DVD+R ?.And if thats not the problem what should i do ?
Or should i dl some others people copy ?
P.S.
i still have the original dvd so i think its legal

i had the same problem the game took ages to load if going into a battle i could hear the disc slipping, what i did was change the brand of the disc and burned at a much slower speed 1x or 2x at the most, now the game plays perfect every time.

lol, I guess you could make the argument that downloading a copy if you already own the game is okay, though I wouldn't guarantee that would hold up in court, if it ever came down to it ;) If your real game is actually quite scratched up, though, I hear you can usually mail it in to the publisher for a replacement disc, just contact them first.

Anyway, loading problems and hangs are always-- always-- a problem with the media and/or burn speed... unless your PS2 laser is dying, which is unlikely.

if your original is scratched up, take a trip to your local retailer with the game in hand and exchange it for the same thing.
