Problems with XAPTER 1.6 Install

I was wondering if anyone has suggestions or tips. I have a v1.6 xbox and the 1.6 solderless XAPTER adapter. I can't seem to get the little pins to stick in the points. If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated.

Solder them in...Assuming you have a solderless adapter, sometime soldering them is the best way and it will alleviate your system of annoying problems in the future (i.e. fragging).
