In windows media player and media player classic when I set the volume lower and then move the seek bar to a different part of the movie/song the volume goes up full!

Even if I hit mute and move seek bar the volume goes up to max and the icon stays the same to indicate that the sound is muted. to get mute on again the button must be pressed again twice
