what you need to make a high quality movie get a dvd shrink, copy the dvd to hard drive,have xvid avi codecs installed and filters, mp3 for video audio, need some video editing software like aztech mpeg4, run the mpeg4 convert vob files to xvid set to default until one has the knowledge of video break down, choose audio mp3, select to convert whole file to one file so no joining will be required or if going to be a big file and you want to put it on cd-r set at maxium file 700 mb,now open your burning software like nero select to burn data now just go add files that you want to burn if burning dvd-r one can add several movies or one to two cd-r, now to watch them on dvd player,,
you will need a dvd player that plays dvd,xvid avi,divx avi,mpeg4,mp3,svcd,vcd, at wal-mart they have a philips for $59 bucks ,, now you can play those movies and have good dvd quality plus save alot money and time encoding for if you download movies all you have to do is burn to data and not even half to encode, need any help let me know
