I have a Neo4 no-swap modchip :) :), Network Adapter, and a working Hard Drive. I installed HDLoader using a burned bootable CD.
What can I do to copy .ELF files to my memory card and run them from there. I do not want to have to do the PS1 game swap trick - I don't think I should have to, since I can boot anything.
I am looking to:
1. Run HDLoader from the Memory Card
2. Run an FTP server from the Memory Card
3. Run ToxicOS from the Memory Card
Can I do this and what do I need to download/follow?
once the memory card exploit is running properly make an iso file of the program execFTP using ultraiso and copy it to your hdd using winHIIP. once that is done load your hd loader app and you should see execFTP in your games list, click on it to initialize the ftp server on port 21. Next, get a program called FlashFXP and connect to your ps2 using default ip address(mine is 192.168.0.10) it should show it on the screen. It will say hdd, mem,.... click on memory card and you should see all your memory card exploit ELF files, now get a program called hdldumb server and save it to your pc, than in flash navigate to the file in the left window and right click and transfer the file to your memory card. It should show it with all your memory card exploits now. Now start up your ps2 with all the memory card exploit parts put in (hdd, network adapter, mem card, ps1 trigger disc) it should load ps2menu-k, press r1 and choose mc press x and it should show your hdl server now, and if your want to use FlashFXP in the future just choose execFTP from your hdd
Thanks, I was able to accomplish this the other day.
Then a wire came unsoldered from my modchip and now my PS2 won't boot up. I soldered it back on but it might be creating a short (points are tiny) and it's still not booting :(.
