Since im using qoob pro, can i rip my original game using usb cable ?? I don't have BBA. If possible ... pls kindly guide me.

I have'nt heard of any programs that use the USB to rip games, only BBA for that, USB is to flash the chip

That would be interesting to see though

If you dont have a BBA, are you getting friends to backup your games? Or are you downloading them off the internet?

can you be more specific with the errors you're getting? does the disc stop spinning then on the screen it says that the disc cannot be read?

also what version GC system do you have?

No you can not stream with the USB cable. It would have been a nice feature, maybe something for the future bios release. You will need the BBA to do it. The one thing that I will say to anybody is burn at the slowest speed possible and do not have anything else running in the background. Get a cheap second pc if you can.

My setup is this, a cheap dell pc celeron 2.0 256 meg ram Nero 6 Dynex dvd +- r/rw writer. This is just used for my Xbox and Cube only. Also to download what I need for those systems.

Now I went with the Xecuter case for the bigger dvd's. I have alot of dvd's so that why the case. I am using TDK DVD+R 4x. They work great for me. Not one problem with anything I have backed up'd. Everyone case will be different.

Trying to burn and surf the net and play music takes alot out of your system resources. So hope this help out.

It just freezes in the middle of the game, no error msg shown. Most of the games i dl from the internet

Hmm .. since some of my games does boot, does that mean that my qoob pro n POT setting r ok?

As for application n bios, any other appliz for qoob u guys recommend eg. watch dvd, mp3 etc

Ah .. got many qtions, sorry abt it ... just got my qoob these few days :).
