hey guys, i just got a DMS4 EZI pro. i put it in fine, everything looks good (i can get pix if you want). the ps2 gets power fine, eject buttons light up and everything. i can press power and eject, and the system turns on fine. it spins the disc fine too. it sounds like it is actually playing the game.

however, no image shows on screen. any ideas what is going on? i've tested it on multiple TVs, and the connection from the cord to the TV is good too.

thanks guys (b**)b

Did you flash it with Toxic OS? If you're trying to play a back up it needs to be flashed with Toxic OS. Are you trying to load an original or a backup? If it doesn't load originals you might've butchered the mod, if won't load backups it needs flashed. For flashing info check here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/237751

thanks for the reply, but yea, i tried to flash with ToxicOS. The PS2 boots, the screen blinks, and it spins the disc for about 4 seconds, then gives up. :\

Any ideas? Thanks for the reply, DMS forums don't seem to be very helpful.

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/238345 I think this might be the problem. A. you need the Toxic Bios (doh on my part) and B. follow the directions in this thread and hopefully that'll help. The only other think I can think of is it's not installed correctly. Try taking the chip out and see if the PS2 functions properly. This should tell you if it was a bad flash or it's something more serious. Yeah I don't like the DMS3.com forums either, You ask how do I do this? And the reply is what are you a dumbass? Nice people lol. Also here is a quick link to the DMS 4 EZI Pro installation guide download: http://www.dms3.com/cgi-bin/dms4ezi/site.pl?page=manual Good Luck.
