Easy, if it's a RAR then extract it then drag and drop it into, ~ a must have tool for the downloader ~

VSO DivxToDVD2 1-week trial, 29.99 ~ the finest tool around to automatically convert your AVI, Divx, DV, MOV, Mpeg, Mpeg4, WMV, VOB, Xvid, and stream formats into a DVD complainant format & burns it to disc automatically with just 1-Click. The aspect ratio can be automatically selected OR set.

You'll want to use this first as it's fully automated and faster than lighting. Well maybe not lightening BUT it's douible the speed of it's older but totally FREE baby Brother,

DivxToDVD Freeware ~

Though you probably won't need it, there's a fun and easy guide for it in my sig.

Enjoy,

Pete

just cuz the file d/l says DivX, or XviD, or mp3 is not necessarily as such. chances are, they are .AVI files and need to be encoded to mpeg2 to be burned.
what burning programs do you have?
what burner do you have?
what are the pc specs?
do you have latest firmware updates for your burner?
do you have latest udate for your burning programs?
what is your choice of blank media?

Sea my post.

Drag and drop the file into the proggy's window. Tell the program where your drive is, whether you want a full-screen OR wide-screen copy, put a blank disc in your burner, click, "Convert".

Come back when the disc "Pop" out and it's all done. Period !

If you plan on doing any amount of D/L and burning, you cannot be without this proggy.

BTW, it almost doesn't matter what format it's in, the program will do just about anything.

It's not needed BUT a complete guide can be found in my sig OR at the VSO site.
