I just installed a new fliptop on my PS2 v.12 and now nothing will work. I put original discs and Swap Magic 3.6 and the discs won't even spin in the PS2. Is this a typical problem? I reinstalled the original top and everything worked fine. I've switched the top about 3 times now with the same results. Original top, everything works fine and discs spin. Flip top, nothing works and discs do not even spin.

Anyone have any advise? Could it just be a defective fliptop?

i this an older chunky model
or a slim?
With the older model, sometimes when you screw it down it
is just too tight. Try putting it on but not putting the
screws back in the bottom

Its the slim version. I tried loading a disc again without rescrewing the bottom screws and I still have the same problem. The disc will not spin.
