what game? that would help.
Usually you get a set of files that look like
game.001,game.002 and so on
you have to use Winrar to extract the first file to get an
ISO so that you can burn it.
also what files are they? he may have the game files
but i will need to know some of the names to be able to tell you.
If he has the game files then all he needs is the correct order to
burn them in.
and what kind of chip does he have? not a very good one
i assume or he would not need Swap Magic to load games.
The point of having a chip is so that you do not need
boot discs like Swap Magic

Hi
Im having the same problem, got pro evo 5 from a torrent site, ive extracted all the RAR files and i have a folder containing 2 folders
IOP
NTCNFBIN
and loads of individal files most are *.AFS
Ive tried compiling the extracted files into Nero 6.somat using a DVD ISO and a DVD boot Disc using the boot.AFS file keeping the same file structure, in a vein attempt to get my PS2 to recognise it as a valid PS2 disc
Basically im using Swap magic 3.3 and a slide tool but i cant get the disc to read in the PS2.
Any ideas how i can get this downloaded game onto a DVD that is read by my PS2, im using Bulk Paq 16x DVD's and/or Ritec Blue 8x on NEC 3505 writer
Any help most appreciated!

you may have to hope that someone who has the game will post
up the file order. Those are the game files for sure.
like if you extracted all of them out of the ISO with
ISO Buster.
To burn them you basically have to rebuild the ISO
for that you will need to know the correct file order to
put them in.
I do not have that game or i would do it for you.

firstly, thanks for the reply....
secondly, i simply used WinRar to unzip the ps2 game's iso file...and thats it.
Trust me, i've not unzipped any other files, i've just had to unzip that file and it spent an hour using WinRar to extract all of the files and the two folders; IOP & NTCNFBIN.
I do have a msInfo file i think, (im currently using a win2000 pc which i seldom use) and i have a file named "System" instead and has the file type "SpeedDial".
i've just dl'ed dvd decrypter so im going to be using that.
My PS2 is not chipped although my PS2 has played pirate dvd's in the past and supports DVD-ROM discs so im going to give it a go, but i first need to figure out how to put the ps2 game onto dvd, im a complete newbie as you might of guessed.
so thanks in advance for any replies...

first off, if it gave you an ISO file then the only reason
that you would use WinRAR to extract the game files inside
is if the game needed to be rebuilt to work.
You may want to search the forums on that game name and
see if anyone is saying it needs to be rebuilt.
If it does not need that then all you had to do was
burn the ISO file to a DVD, not use WinRAR to extract it.
Here is a tutorial on using DVD Decrypter, you just skip the ISO-Read
part since you already have the ISO, which i hope you did not delete
after you used WinRAR.
http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id3.html if it needs to be rebuilt there is a tutorial page that will
tell you how to do that as well.
and lastly if your PS2 is not modded to play back up games
like mentioned above by using Swap Magic and a fliptop or modchip
or something then it will not play.

Well, steimy (again) thanks fot the advice...
I caught on to what you said in your first reply to me, and used DVD Decrypter to burn the .iso file onto dvd i then verified it (that took the same amount of time it took to burn it onto dvd...)
My mistake was a newbie one. i made the mistake to extract the .iso file using WinRar which i understand i shouldnt have done.
But, i do appreciate your help, it was very valuable.
Once the dvd was written to, i placed the dvd+r into the PS2 and unsurprisingly you might say it didnt work...
Never mind...im looking into Swap Magic and how i can use that to play ps2 games...i dont want to get the ps2 modified because its not mine.
Anyway, have a good one everyone!
