I am using dvd decrypter. I select mode, .iso, read. Sometimes it creates an .iso sometime it creates an .mds. This time when I select mode,.iso, write. I get the message that there isn't enough space on my disk to burn the image. I am using a DVD-R w/ 4.7GB. Is there a way to compact this file to make it fit?

Try compressing it using a free program called DVD Shrink.

There are also guides here at Afterdawn that can you give you a step by step process on how to use this program using DVD Decrypter.

Yeah, DVDShrink is the way to go to compress it to fit on standard DVD-R media.

Too bad for us the maker of DVD Decrypter has been shut down. And new movies with Sony's protection don't work, example: Lords of Dogtown. I had to use DVDFAB to get it to rip since DVD Decrypter didn't work. And DVDFAB doesn't work well with DVDshrink. My first time through It didn't compress it to the right size, I had to run it through again from the compressed file.

J_torres & Seiji, Thanks DVD Shrink worked. Also, thanks for heads up about the new sony protection, I am going to download that dvdfab.
