Ok... i am offical new to the DVD burning world by about 24hrs.... anyway.. i have figured most of the ins and outs... but one question that i had was.... when i went to copy a DVD and say that there was 7.8gigs of information on a DVD...(single sideded).... HOW???? is there DVD's out there that can hold as much info... if so are they usable on a HP DVD 300i or is this some ultra expensive .. hollywood only technology???

DVD-5 is a single layer DVD that stores up to 4.37 gb ie dvd-r
DVD-9 is a dual layer DVD which can fit up to 7.95 GB these are pressed dvd's you cant get a writeable version, "hollywood only"
there fore you need to either spit your movie over 2 disks (dvdxcopy) or compress it to fit on one disk (dvd2one)
