DVD Burner not Writing

I?ve been using DVD Decrypter and DVD Scrink 3.1 for about 2 months now and never had any problems. Now when I open the file that I decrypted, and try to scrink it that works and encrypted the file, but when it burns (writes), the program remains at 0% and doesn?t go any further, and then I get an error stating Burning failed. It doesn?t even start burning. Then I tried using Nero to make a copy of a DVD-R that I have and when the burning starts, it fails and states burning failed because of power compilation. This never happened before. It seems as my burner can read files, because I can use DVD Decrypter, but it doesn?t write. Would I need a new burner, or ?????

lets see if this helps decrypter & shrink are no longer updated though still useful try using dvdfab decrypter to rip dvd to files and shrink to create iso and DVD Decrypter to burn, dvd fab can handle the latest encryptions from hollywood also find out if there is a firmware upgrade for your burner in decrypter go to tools, drive firmware updates,download the latest for your burner from the site good luck
