http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/236947 I dunno where they would be found, but if you downloaded the game it should be in a bunch of .rar files. Extract the first one (they should be numbered) with WinRAR and all the files including the video files should be amongst them.

See that's the problem. Burnout is a DVD-ROM game. Without a DVD burner there is no way you can make a backup. Your computer wouldn't even be able to read the DVD with out a DVD-ROM drive. Sorry buddy.

Yeah I think you might be outta luck: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/238680 The people in this thread know a lot more about this stuff than I do, so when they say you need a DVD burner, I'd take them at their word. You will still be able to backup your CD-ROM based PS2 games. There are only a few CD-ROM based PS2 games. To see if the game is a DVD-ROM or CD-ROM, check the back of the package. It will say in small print. Sorry Man.To burn PS2 CD-ROM based games check here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/236278

I don't know specifically where the videos for burnout are. You are indeed correct Prince of Persia is a DVD-ROM based game. My question is how did you burn a DVD-ROM based game to CD-R? Do you make an image of it and take out the video files and burn it back to CD? If so does this actually work? Sorry I can't be of more help. One general thing would be to go through the files and see where the biggest ones are. The biggest files tend to be the FMV files. That's a good place to start. I don't know what you use to Shrink, but DVDShrink is supposed to work well. You can download it here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_...

@waqas
i dont believe you are going to attempt to rip a game to cd disk,and you havent even got a dvd burner
if you going to attempt,something like this,which is very difficult,and for the more experienced user,i would have expected you to have a dvd burner???
so i hope you know what you are doing
are you sure the game prince of persia was ripped to a cd disk?
thats one big game,and i doubt it would fit onto a dvd disk

actually i have a guide to make rip kits and it says i dont need a dvd burner only a dvd rom and a cd-writer. they said to find the video files and make dummy files in them and i dont know where they are. and yes im entirely sure that the prince of persia game was on a cd cos i checked it on my cd-rom.

Agrees with Hursty, if this is possible it's gonna take a lot of software, patience, and know how. Good luck Wagas.
