Hi,
I am thinking about building a cheap shuttle box pc mainly for playing downloaded media off the internet. I would want want xvid, divx, wmv, h.264, and shoutcast radio stations to play. I already have a tivo so I would not need tv recording function. Here is the barebones case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16856101420 (sorry link does not work-its a shuttle sk43g), and the processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819104210, I was thinking of buying. Is there a program that would work with a remote that I would buy that would give me an interface so I could view RSS, view videos, and listen to shoutcast radio statons? Should I install linux or windows?
Also, how much noise and heat would be coming from this? I would like to have it in a bedroom but would not like a noisy box.
Is there a better solution to this?

Thanks
