QUESION 1: I just bought 100 taiyo yuden 8x DVD-R discs for my Panasonic eh80. And the paper on top of the discs says that they may harm machines that don't comply with new dvd-r specs. Does anyone know if I can use these discs in my eh80? And can you tell me where to go to find out which discs you can and cannot use.

QUESTION 2: I have lots of home videos that were captured at SP speed on my VHS machine. When I am copying these to DVD with my Panasonic eh80 does it make any sense to copy them in the 1 hour mode (XP) versus the 2 hour mode (SP). (I am using a control S out from a JVC VCR to play the tapes that are being copied.)

QUESTION 3: If I make a DVD at XP speed and then use it to make a copy of it -- again at XP speed on my panasonic -- is there any degradation in picture quality with each copy or is my machine making a perfect digital copy of a digital copy? What if I do this with a DVD burner on my computer instead of on my DVR. Is the answer the same.
