I just soft modded my xbox the other day. And I was just wondering if I am now able to just install any dashboard I want to it, from say a cd?

Also, It installed to where I am supposed to be able to get to the MS dasbhoard, but when I try to go to it, it just sits on a black screen. Any ideas on this?
