what is modding and swap discs? and where on your ps2 does it say your version? thx for help sorry for stupid questions

Modding is adding a chip to your to ps2 (inside) to play backed up games.....Swap disc are used to play backup games without opening your ps2 and voiding your warrenty on the back it tells you Sony SPCH and a numver like 50001 thats ur version

thx glitched so your sayin the best thing is to use is a swap disc? how or where would i obtain one? and when i do i can use it on my ps2 like a normal game?

I prefer a modchip but swap is ok you can get it at http://www.modchip.ca/store/home.php,you use it when you play a burned games
