I am relative new to this scene and have a few questions.

I am using Nero OEM as a burner and have used VSO DivxToDVD to create video_ts folders. I also have DVD Shrink ver. 3.2.

I downloaded the trial version of VSO DivxToDVD, ver. 1.99.20.60. My question is when I am converting the MPG file I get a sort of a yellow "scan" line about 1/8 the way down the image and a red "scan" line at the bottom of the image. It is in the preview screen and also in the VOB file. Is this normal for the trial version? Would it go away with the purchased version?

Another question if I am permitted. I am quite confused as to which section of Nero to use when burning DVDs. I tried one earlier this morning and it locked up my Sony DVD player, but played ok in my computer. I don't understand.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ther was an older version of DivXtoDVD available that runs a little faster and doesnt have watermark, try downloading from here

Thanks for the quick reply.

I had used that version and I had some strange things happen. When I converted an .mpg file I had captured with my All-In-Wonder ATI card...I got the movie plus...it kept on converting the same movie again, only this time it started in the middle. So when I used DVD Shrink, and selected only the movie it recorded, eliminating the half it re-recorded, it only using about half of the DVD. Lousy quality Strange. Any comments or possible solutions?
