Swap Magic 3.6 Won't Load

I have an older PS2 (V4 I think?), and it plays import DVD based games fine with the Swap Magic DVD. The problem is, it refuses to load the Swap Magic CD.

When I put it in, it spins up for a while, then slows down, then spins up for a few seconds and repeats endlessly (I have a clear case, so I can see it doing this). I've left it for a few minutes, and it still just spins up/down the disc, and nothing appears onscreen.


I've tried the CD in another PS2, and it loads fine... Can anybody suggest anything I could try?

it could be your ps2, sinse its old it might not be able to load cds. try playing a cd based game.

I have sort of a fix for you.

Alot of people have trouble getting thier PS2 to read backup
PS2 CD-ROM games.

The fix?

Change your PS2 CD-ROM games into PS2 DVD-ROM games.

Here is the link that shows you how. It works great and I have never had a problem converting them and playing them as DVD-ROM. It loads so much better then CD-ROM.

I also have the same problem with my V7 PS2.

My Solution: Extra Weight. If you add some extra weight on top of your PS2, it somehow got it to load!

I know its crazy, but I got it working !!
