question about skipping over the entire dvd

I've done some searching and have only found results for skipping o the last part of the movie or speratically. Alot of the dvd's i have burnt are fine, but a couple i have downloaded and then burnt only skip when i play them. They play fine in my computer, but as soon as i try and play the dvd in my dvd player they start skipping and don't stop.

Any ideas as to why this is happening? Is it something to do with the type of dvd i'm downloading? Its happened on 2 seperate occasions and almost every other dvd i have burnt have been perfect.

Media issues, probably. Try a different brand of media as a test.

just seems a little too rare to attribute to media. The WHOLE dvd skips it seems. Out of all the 100 or so dvd's i've burn, the only bad ones have been these couple movies that i have downloaded. They are in iso format and neither of them worked at all. I'll try another brand though and see what happens!

Sometimes the burning program also matters. Try use a different burning program (e.g. Decrypter) and compare the results.
