How can i format my PS2 HDD (maxtor)? my friend tried it, but WINXP cannot do it (dont know y?), what file system i must format it to use with PS2?How can it be formated?

need to format it with a loader prog, like hdadvance or hdloader. wich will also be used to load your games off hd

i know that, but i cannot install games on HDD anymore so thats why i need to format it and format it with HDA/L again.

first off your ? was how do i format my hd, wich is what i answered. winxp, windows xp doesnt support the ps2 file format. you need to use a loader. if not a loader then with hdl_dump or winhipp through direct pc connect or network. your second response doesnt sound much like a ?, more like complaining that you have to reformat it again. dont know what you did to change the format of the hd.
