Got Rayman 1 and 2 for PSX which were maid by clonecd (donno which version).
Burned the rayman 1 with clonecd 5.2.xxx used game cd option and it won't boot on my MODDED PS2.
Tried to burn rayman 2 with pc protected game option and it wouldn't boot either....
Other images burned by nero are working.
Bye the way, how do i know which MOD CHIP is in my ps2 ?

The original Rayman is CD ROM based so you'd burn it just like a PSX game: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/236278 The second one is DVD-ROM based so you need to burn it to a quality DVD-R with DVD decrypter: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/117975

It's not working :(
tried clonecd 5, 4.3,X1 speed ,Nero 6.6, but only get a blank screen when i insert game to PS2 console.
I use Ritek x52 media which works with ANYTHING THAT MOVES.
i Even downloaded ANOTHER image of rayman psx......
Please advise...

Yeah make sure you select Game CD if you use Clone CD. For the second Rayman you need to use a DVD program like DVD Decrypter to burn it. It is freeware which can be found here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_... Instructions for DVD Decrypter can be found here: http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id3.html The first one may be goofy. A lotta people seem to make poor rips with Clone CD.

Still couldn't make to rayman 1 work....leave alone rayman 2 (DVD media is more expensive.....).
I am quitting, will try next time to not use clonecd images

Yeah could be a cheap modchip or poor quality iso image. What speed do your burn your backups at. You do realize that since the first Rayman is a CD-ROM based gamed it needs to be burned to a CD-R? You can't burn it to DVD-R. The second Rayman is DVD-ROM based so it should be fine with DVD Decrypter. DVD-R's aren't really much more expensive than CD-R's. You should at least buy a 5 pack and try to get it working. Don't give up so easily.

Thanks for the encouragement.
I burned already about 50 PS2/1 images and they are working.
From my experience RITEK is best media to do the work and i use it's DVD at X4/X6 speed cause my ps2 reads it better (although it can be used at X8).
these 2 CCD rayman images are one of the few burning iso i couldn't do....
Maybe i'll buy them on ebay or something....
