Cant play some originals online with my mod present

Hello, I cant play some of my original games that i have online anymore. I get the error 402 which means "-Playing an original while the modchip is turned on." I've red that if you disable your mod chip it would fix the probleme. But in my case i have a soldered mod. I can play my original socom 1 online but i cant play the original socom 2 online (error 402). Anyone have any ideas or questions?

I forgot to mention that Socom 2 is rented, could that explain why it wont work online? So far every game that i have rented wont work online when i trie it.

what modchip do you have, you can check their website to see if they have a on/off feature

when did you get it. I think if its a year or 2 old it my not have the online capability.
