I don't know. Maybe Alcohol conflics with other software? (do you have EZCD installed?).
If you tried burn 'RAW DAO' try selecting 'RAW SAO'. It might be better, if the error lies in your burner's capabilities.

No, i dont think i have EZCD installed. All i have is Clonecd, ClonyXXL, and Alcohol 120%. I did have daemon tools until i found out how much better alcohol 120% to use. Also for clonecd, where do i set, "'Amplify Weak Sectors" because I cant find it. I have the newest version of Clonecd if u wanted to know.

It should appear when you select the 'custom' settings before burning (see step 4. of Clone CD's section of the 'Quick guide' in the main page)

I uninstalled CloneCD 4 time ago (when I changed my PC's OS) so I cannot help you, more in detail, sorry.
Anyone here knows this?

If you are in the USA or Japan, the "amplify weak sectors" is disabled and not accessible for use.

In this case I would definitely move to DiskJuggler.

Change your pc's region settings and/or currency (I forget which) to something other than US or Japan to enable amplify weak sector settings in CloneCD.
Hope this helps.

I think I might be able to help with this.
I had the exact same problem and error message when I tried to burn. What I found is a simple albeit strange solution. "Don't have a disk in your drive until you've loaded up alcohol, gone into image burning wizard and then pressing "next" Choose your options, then press start. A small menu will pop up asking you to insert a blank cd. Throw in your CD and it starts burning. That's how I do it and it works for me, otherwise, if I have a disk in prior, I get the exact same error message.
Hope it works for you too.
