does anyone know if i can download halo2 maps to my pc then ftp them to my softmod xbox?

Rumor has it you can, I have heard of ways to do it. But I have yet to actually perform this feat. I am wanting to do it with both Halo 1 and 2. Apparently, someone modded the XBox version of Halo 1 to work with Halo CE files... I have yet to locate a valid download of this.

duh, you can. Finding the maps is the hard part. Just ftp your xbox and move the files from your computer to your box

Have you ever actually done this? There's a bit more to it than that. Like finding the correct TData folders to put them in, etc. Although, admittedly, modding Halo 2 is much easier than the original. The original was a complete nuisance to mess with, and yet there were many better maps made for that than number two. It seems like most of the H2 mods were basic re-texturing work.

ya you are right, but you don't need to be an advanced engneer to drag and drop files in the right places
