I have a PS2 version 7, with a DMS EZI Pro chip, ToxicOS 0.3 and a HD installed through the ethernet adapter.

Whenever I try to install a CD-R game onto my PS2 HD (through the ToxicOS HD menu), I get a 'Fatal error reading the disc'. This happens to both my backups of DDR Extreme 2 and Makai Kingdom, which both happen to be on CD-R and slow burned at 4x. I can play the game fine if I play straight from the disc, but I just can't install them to the HD.

I can install other backup DVD-R and DVD+R games to the HD without any problems.

How do I get around this 'fatal' read error? I still have the bin/cue files for the cd images, so I'm thinking if I burn the images onto a DVD-R instead of a CD-R I might have better luck reading them. But none of my programs will let me burn a CD sourced bin/cue onto a blank DVD. Can I just copy the individual files from the CD and burn them onto a DVD?
